Sara Wickham’s New Zealand workshops 2017!

nz 2017 workshopsKia ora! I’m coming back to New Zealand in 2017, and I will be offering three brand-new workshops; Gathering in the Knowledge, The Labour Progress Workshop and Exploring Prophylaxis!

With the help of some very lovely New Zealand midwives, I have put together a two-venue tour of NZ. I’ll be going to Queenstown in the South Island and then up to Whangarei in the North. We’ve found some lovely relaxed venues and are looking forward to inspiring education, great conversation, refreshment and maybe even a bit of crafting while we learn!

Each workshop can be booked separately, because I know what it’s like to be a midwife and that gives you maximum flexibility.ย  The dates and topics are:

Gathering in the Knowledge – Queenstown, Thurs 27 April 2017.
The Labour Progress Workshop – Queenstown, Fri 28 April 2017.

Gathering in the Knowledge – Whangarei, Weds 3 May 2017.
Exploring Prophylaxis: anti-D, vitamin K and group B strep – Whangarei, Thurs 4 May 2017.

To find our more about any of the workshops, just click the links for loads more information and/or to get your ticket. We have applied for NZ Midwifery Council points for all of these workshops.

I hope to see you there!

Well that would be lovely, but we’re only on the North Island for those two workshops, so it’ll need to be on our next trip ๐Ÿ™‚ x

Great workshop today in Queenstown, thank you.

Lots of talk around midwifery intuition and how do we scientifically quantify it. Well being a total Cumberbitch … in the words of Sherlock Holmes (BBC, 2017)

“Intuitions are not to be ignored John. They represent data processes too fast for the consicious mind to comprehend”.
