We’ve made the videos and podcasts, found you oodles of interesting stuff to ponder, and the time has finally come to open our newest online course, Gathering in the Knowledge 2018. So tomorrow we will be welcoming participants from around the world for a week of online learning, discussion and reflection. We’re aiming to update you on new birth-related research and thinking, so that you’ll feel refreshed, inspired and full of information and ideas to use in your practice and share with women and families.
This is one of our full-sized professional development online courses for midwives and birth folk, and we’re excited to be welcoming participants from many different countries and areas. So if you’re signed up and raring to go, then keep an eye on your email inbox as you’ll automatically be sent a link as soon as the course opens. And we’ll be online from Friday morning to chat to you in the course!
If you’re thinking of joining us and haven’t signed up yet, then you can do so anytime until the end of the first day of the course, Friday 4th May. We will be closing registration at the end of the first day (or before then if we reach capacity) so that everyone can make the most of the facilitated week, where I will be chatting with you personally in the course.
If the dates don’t work for you, then don’t worry as we are likely to run it at least once more in 2018, and the best way to make sure you get updated when we have new course dates is to jump on our newsletter list, which will also ensure you get Sara’s free, monthly Birth Information Update.
If you have any questions, then we’ve got a page which tells you everything you could possibly want to know about the course. We’re really looking forward to seeing you there!
